II. Assignment Objectives
A PMD oversees an entire project and serve as a point of contact for a client or customer. Duties of the PMD may include coordinating work, identifying risks and mitigation plans and handling budget strategies. Setting timeline estimates and ensure the needs of stakeholders are met.
III. Duties and Responsibilities
The PMD primary duties and responsibilities are:
- Planning what work/task needs to be done, when and the personnel responsible for the task.
- Looking at the risks involved in a particular project and managing these risks.
- Making sure the work is done to the right standard.
- Motivating the team of people involved in the project.
- Co-ordinating work done by different people.
- Making sure the project is running on time and to budget.
- Dealing with changes to the project as and when necessary.
- Making sure the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits.
IV. Specific Tasks to be Undertaken
- Establish professional relations with stakeholders.
- Ensure baseline project documents are produced, maintained and available to all parties concerned and effectively used.
- Ensure assigned projects are correctly planned and managed during execution.
- Monitor and control financial status of project.
- Report financial, resources, technical issues, customer satisfaction status of assigned projects to management.
- Manage process of scope definition and change control, estimating and negotiations of contract.
- Identify important potential risks related to project.
- Establish and execute detailed plans to ensure risks are mitigated and opportunities are realized.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project proposals are supported with proposal deliverables.
- Ensure projects are properly closed out working with Life Cycle Service organization.
- Develop overall project plans for cross-organizational projects, consistent with specific project objectives as defined by project owner and key stakeholders.
- Ensure assigned individuals are executing identified and assigned tasks.
- Provide appropriate tracking and reporting per plan to management.
- Lead and direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
- Perform as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

VIII. Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines or Business Management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- 3+ years of experience in project management .
- Being involved in Experience Management Projects before and Certifications such as PMP will be plus.
- Experience in working with large and complex organizations with a proven track record for delivering projects with successful outcomes.
- Strong ability to work with others to achieve a common goal.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Resolve conflicts and manage cross-functional and external relationships; demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence without authority.
- Additional education in logistics, foreign economic activity, and economics is a plus.
