Job Title: Social Worker

Job Description:
The Social Worker will be responsible for providing comprehensive social services to vulnerable individuals and families within the targeted communities in Tripoli. The key responsibilities include:

• Conducting home visits on an as-needed basis
• Updating the beneficiaries’ list on a weekly basis
• Providing social counseling to beneficiaries
• Submitting monthly reports to the respective coordinators
• Identifying and registering vulnerable persons of concern
• Liaising with and making referrals to other organizations
• Conducting BIQ/CIQs with beneficiaries and their caregivers
• Introducing Restart services within the targeted communities
• Preparing weekly plans and sending them to the CBS coordinator
• Conducting rapid needs assessment interviews with targeted populations
• Conducting focus groups with women, men, and children in identified regions
• Coordinating regularly with outreach volunteers engaged in the CBS program
• Participating in training modules, case conferences, supervisions, and team meetings
• Preparing mental health assessment reports
• Regularly following up, monitoring, and reviewing cases
• Raising awareness and providing psychoeducation to families during the registration period
• Offering information, support, and assistance to beneficiaries and new incoming cases
• Participating in the administrative preparation of meetings and training organized by Restart
• Coordinating daily with the CBS coordinator on program implementation
• Participating in all awareness-raising, recreational, and psychosocial activities
• Developing and regularly updating individual case plans for each beneficiary
• Administering resilience/impact forms to beneficiaries
• Conducting exploration interviews to assess each new beneficiary’s conditions
• Providing feedback on referrals/active patients to relevant team members
• Coordinating with the procurement officer regarding refreshments offered during sessions
• Preparing and sharing monthly reports with the senior project accountant

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in providing social services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders
• Proficiency in Arabic and English languages
• Willingness to travel within the targeted communities in Tripoli
