Responsibilities:
Proposal Development: Lead the end-to-end development process of winning proposals, including analyzing RFP requirements, developing proposal outlines, coordinating with subject matter experts, and writing and editing proposal content.
Content Creation: Develop persuasive and well-structured proposal content that effectively communicates our organization’s value proposition, capabilities, and solutions to meet client needs.
Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis to gather relevant information, market intelligence, and competitive insights to inform proposal strategies and positioning.
Proposal Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, subject matter experts, and technical teams, to gather information, review proposal content, and ensure proposal compliance with client requirements.
Proposal Review and Editing: Review, proofread, and edit proposal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client guidelines and quality standards.
Compliance and Formatting: Ensure proposals comply with all RFP requirements, including formatting, document structure, and submission guidelines.
Knowledge Management: Maintain a library of proposal templates, boilerplate content, and best practices to streamline future proposal development processes.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging proposal development techniques to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our proposals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience (5 years) in proposal writing and development, preferably in a proposal management role or NGO.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Strong research and analytical skills to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
Excellent attention to detail, proofreading, and editing abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with proposal management tools and software.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of the industry or market domain related to our organization’s products/services is a plus.
