The responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Handle the administration site for the platform
  • Serve as a point of contact for the SPARK’s implementing partners to jointly develop content and coordinate contributions to the platform.
  • Conduct research on current trends and audience preferences on the platform.
  • Implement community engagement strategy to align with SPARK’s programme objectives.
  • Produce, edit, distribute and share engaging content on a regular basis (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
  • Interact with users, reply to their queries promptly, and monitor their feedback.
  • Monitor content posted to ensure the design and visibility aligned with SPARK’s and donor requirements.
  • Use web analytical tools such as Google Analytics to monitor and evaluate the community platform presence and performance.
  • Prepare periodical reports on the platform performance, challenges, user’s interactions & feedback and trends.
  • Work in compliance with SPARK policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that documentation is in place
  • Other tasks when required.

Requirements and Skills

    • Bachelor degree in digital marketing, marketing or any other related field.
    • Background in humanitarian sector desirable.
    • Experience in community management and platform administration
    • Experience in engagement social media communities
    • Excellent verbal and written language skills in English and Arabic.
    • Organisational skills and the ability to work independently;
    • Ability to work under pressure and travel;
    • High energy, pro-active and service minded;
    • Hands-on attitude and willing to help out flexibly if required;
