Summary

1MORECUP is seeking to recruit a Graphic Designer that is responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging design materials for various projects, including social media posts, promotional materials, and other visual content. They collaborate with team members, contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, and utilize their skills and software proficiency to create innovative designs that align with 1MORECUP’s mission, vision, and identity.

Key Responsibilities  

• Assist the Media Officer in creating visually appealing and engaging design materials for various projects, ensuring consistency with the organization’s branding and messaging.
• Develop engaging content for various platforms, including social media, website and blog, promotional materials, and other visual content.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement a comprehensive visual strategy for the organization’s online and offline presence.
• Create and produce internal communications materials to keep staff informed and engaged.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in graphic design and visual storytelling.
• Maintain an organized archive of design assets, ensuring easy access and retrieval for future use.

Qualifications

• A diploma or degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
• Essential experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing design work.
• Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A strong commitment to gender equality and supporting marginalized communities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
