Human Resource Volunteer

The GIZ Office in Beirut is looking for Human Resource (HR) Volunteer. The HR volunteer will ensure support in the effective implementation of GIZ’s Office Beirut HR unit for six months beginning of August 2023 until January 2024). The HR volunteer will work under the orientations of the HR assistant, to whom they shall report directly and ensure a culture of communication and cooperation, contributing actively to the precise and effective management of the GIZ Office Beirut. The volunteer will receive an action plan prepared by HR Unit.
- Required Qualifications, Competencies and Knowledge: Formal Education
- Undergraduate or holds a university degree in Business Management, Human Resource or equivalent
Other qualifications:
- Previous work/volunteer experience is a plus
- Good oral communication skills in English and Arabic
- Excellent command of written English and Arabic
- Good working knowledge of ICT and Microsoft 365
- Creative, open-minded team player with strong willingness to learn
- Previous work/volunteer experience with INGOs or NGOs is a plus
- Ability to think and work independently and work precisely with attention to detail
- Constructive and positive attitude
- Initiative, sound judgment and demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with staff members of different national and cultural backgrounds
- The HR Volunteers will support in the following:
- Assist HR assistant in HR-related tasks
- Assist the HR in filing, scanning, ensure all NP files are up to date
- Support in the recruitment process by contacting candidates to invite them for interviews and organize interviews.
- Support HR in organizing and preparing for HR events, meetings, workshop and trainings
- Support HR in drafting non-confidential certificate to employees as NSSF forms, etc.
- Support in the training plans list.
- Perform other tasks might be assigned by the HR assistant/specialist according to office work and the demonstrated capabilities
