About Rural Entrepreneurs: Rural Entrepreneurs is a non-profit organization initiated in 2015 in Shouf, Mount Lebanon, in response to the growing concerns about youth and women’s unemployment and marginalization in rural areas. The organization was officially cofounded later on by a group of Lebanese entrepreneurs and professionals who believe in the value of investing in human capital and are committed to sharing their knowledge and experience to prepare youth and women to progress in their careers and become business leaders.
Develops relationships with relevant stakeholders in the region (Private Sector, Educational Institutions, NGOs, Government Entities)
Manages day to day business, answering incoming calls and online queries from all involved stakeholders, especially content partners, ordering supplies and maintaining inventory (paper, coffee, toner, etc)
Oversees the implementation process: Registration – Outreach – Maintenance of records in youth database
Develops a center schedule and process for booking classes where priority is given to content partners
Responsible for Innovation Lab: Following up on cleaning, maintenance, setting Code of Conduct for the Lab.
Ensure good relationships with the donors by attending periodic meetings and maintaining good communication.
Ensure that the projects’ activities meet their intended targets
Monitor the project budget, until the end of the project.
Coordinate with the finance team to accomplish financial tasks related to projects’ implementation, including preparation of money transfers, petty cash, and processing of invoices.
Act as a program focal point and attend meetings
Elaborate on strategies to ensure the sustainability of the Innovation Lab
Maintain up-to-date hard copies of the HR files, Financial Files, Policies, and others.
Maintain good communication with the youth
Additional duties and responsibilities
Actively participate in all training sessions as directed by management including SEA-related training sessions and awareness-raising efforts
Uphold the code of conduct, Child Protection Policy, and all RE policies
Support for the dissemination of PSEA materials
Reporting in good faith all potential allegations of SEA (even if not evidenced) through the Child Protection Focal Point.
When requested participate in investigations of possible SEA allegations
Ensure all personnel sign the organization’s Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policy
Support communication with personnel during the investigation of SEA allegations
Keep PSEA-related documents of personnel on file, including signed codes of conduct and child protection policy.
Coordinate with other staff of the project
Other tasks as directed by the management
