Job title: Procurement Officer – On-Site Visits
Location: Office in Aintoura, Keserwan.
Work schedules: Full-time from Monday to Friday (8.30 AM – 5.30 PM)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site visits to suppliers’ premises to assess their capabilities and confirm the quality of their goods and services, with a focus on raw materials from cooperatives and farmers.
- Evaluate suppliers based on their performance, quality, and adherence to the procurement process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement requirements and develop procurement plans.
- Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
- Monitor and track supplier performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, including supplier information, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
Candidate qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a proven track record of conducting on-site visits.
- Preferably to have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, procurement, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the procurement process.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel), and procurement software is a plus.
- Candidate needs to have a car for field visits.
