الوصف:

Job title: Procurement Officer – On-Site Visits

Location: Office in Aintoura, Keserwan.

Work schedules: Full-time from Monday to Friday (8.30 AM – 5.30 PM)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site visits to suppliers’ premises to assess their capabilities and confirm the quality of their goods and services, with a focus on raw materials from cooperatives and farmers.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on their performance, quality, and adherence to the procurement process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement requirements and develop procurement plans.
  • Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
  • Monitor and track supplier performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, including supplier information, contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, legal regulations, and ethical standards.

Candidate qualifications: 

  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a proven track record of conducting on-site visits.
  • Preferably to have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the procurement process.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel), and procurement software is a plus.
  • Candidate needs to have a car for field visits.
