Identification
Work across different contexts, including local communities, informal settlements, and community spaces, to ensure SGBV cases are identified and receive case management support, through the regular presence in the community
Conducts initial assessments for SGBV cases; conducts regular community visits to work with PSS Officers and community leaders on identification and referral
Accept SGBV cases referred to Concern by other agencies and community partners
Adapt/develop vulnerability criteria fitting the local context
Assesses and prioritizes cases according to risk level
Outreach to women and adolescent girls for group sessions
Case Planning and Implementation
Based on the needs identified through the assessment, develop a case management plan, in collaboration with the beneficiary, and under the supervision of CM
Manage cases in line with Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines
Identify, refer and follow up on all services and ensure action points are carried out within the agreed timeframe;
Maintain regular communication with external referral agencies for service provisions
Regularly review, and when needed adjust, the case plan to ensure progress;
Monitor, guide, advise and support beneficiary and their family throughout the process; Provide information and advise the beneficiaries on existing social services and social counseling and how to access them
Conduct family visits if necessary.
Documents cases using case notes and regularly update the database to ensure a comprehensive record of each case
Maintain files, registers, computer databases, and records in paper or electronic format.
Ensure data collection and storage are done confidentially;
Conduct Emotional support groups, Focused PSS, and individual PSS sessions based on the needs.
Co-ordination and Reporting
Participate in case management and protection meetings
To directly work with other caseworkers and service providers on the management of caseload and referrals
Provides weekly updates/reports on cases and outreach activities to the Case Manager/Protection Project Manager
Support the mapping of the available services and organizations operating in the area;
Ensures coordination and synergy with the main service providers in the area of intervention for prompt referral, follow-up, and information sharing;
Support to Project Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL):
Ensure inclusion of people with specific needs and minorities in the project activities
Ensure that CRM (Complaints & Response Mechanism) is rolled out and functional
Ensure daily record of attendance per activity and ensure that the data collected is accurate
Collect, store and maintain data in line with agreed procedures for data protection

Person specification:
Essential
Education: Degree in Psychology, Social Work, , or similar
Experience: Minimum of one year working experience in a similar position in the humanitarian or development sector
Languages: Good in English and fluent in Arabic
Computer: Good computer literacy, including good knowledge in Microsoft word and excel
Others
Knowledge of protection principles in humanitarian aid;
Knowledge of concepts of SGBV ;
Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, be able to coordinate multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail
The ability to work as a member of a team is essential.
Flexibility in working overtime when needed and ability to handle pressure well

Good organizational and planning skills
