Objective of the Role:

The Graphic Design instructor will be responsible for conducting Graphic Design training program and develop learning material, handbook and other training materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Training Sessions
2. Prepare instructional aids and supplemental teaching materials and resources consistent with learning objectives and student needs.
3. Deliver lessons using a variety of differentiated instructional techniques that are appropriate to the academic level and meet the diverse needs of students.
4. Promote students’ understanding of and appreciation for Graphic Design.
5. Guide students through development of a stellar final project that will showcase their abilities to hiring managers.
6. Facilitate a dynamic and collaborative classroom community.
7. Inspire students to persevere through the challenges of learning a new suite of skills.
8. Plans to reflect industry trends and offer personal insights.
9. Taking attendance and following up on absences.
10. Preparing monthly reports on the progress of the participants, challenges, changes and implementation progress to the project manager.
11. Tracking sessions’ progress.

Competencies and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in teaching/training in graphic design and content creation, preferably in a nonprofit or social impact setting.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design and multimedia tools.
• Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Passion for social and environmental issues.
