Context
Under the general supervision of the Migration Health Officer and the direct supervision of the Client Support and QC Assistant, the incumbent shall perform the following functions:
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Meet and warmly greet beneficiaries scheduled for attendance of IOM Beirut premises
2. Obtain info for the purpose of their visit and inform MHO in charge of MHAC/designated IOM MHD HAP team member who will advise for response/schedule
3. Assist in implementation of COVID-19 preventive and protection measures particularly ensuring social distancing and wearing of PPEs is in place and followed by beneficiaries
4. Assist MHD HAP and other units at reception site within IOM Beirut compound designated waiting area and closely coordinate flow of beneficiaries with security unit, MHD HAP as well as other units within IOM Beirut
5. Assist nurses at reception area and/or waiting areas with making available required supplies of Personal protection equipment
6. Assist in eventual emergency evacuation situation, security unit, MHD HAP and other units safe exit of respective beneficiaries from the site,
7. Assist disabled beneficiaries to access laboratory/radiology site or when unaccompanied also assist with access to restrooms
8. Assist MHD HAP Focal point and on call Physician engaged in assistance to stranded refuges/migrants with in kind donation carried on in IOM Beirut reception/waiting areas
9. Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Secondary school education diploma from an accredited educational institution.
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
Experience
• Minimum of two years reception/crowd control experience in private sector/UN agencies/NGOs/IOs.
• Prior work experience and knowledge in a reception/crowd control would be added advantage
Skills
• Proficiency with Ms Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
• Team player.
• Ability to pay attention to details and to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Be willing to learn and be flexible with working hours.
Languages
For all applicants, fluency in English and Arabic is required for this position (oral and written).
IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.

This selection process may be used to staff similar positions in various duty stations. Recommended candidates will remain eligible to be appointed in a similar position for a period of 24 months.
