The health Officer position operates under the authority of the humedica Health Coordinator. The Health Officer will be responsible for developing and providing consultative support mechanisms to Primary Health Care Centers (PHCCs) to ensure efficient and effective management of the health centers while maintaining quality standards applicable to Lebanese Public Health regulations.
Duties and Responsibilites:
- Develop new and improve ongoing humedica-related PHCCs cooperation
- Support all PHCC-related cooperation activities
- Train and build the capacity of the primary healthcare center staff, on different health and nutrition topics, where needed.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for further improvement of project activities
- Maintain good communication and relations with PHCC partners
- Provide data and inputs for all periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.)
- Collect, analyze, and follow up on beneficiaries feedback
- Participate in relevant training if available and feasible
- Audit PHCC records to reconcile project disbursements
- Ensure that all field data is collected in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct qualitative data collection through daily visits to the PHCCs
- Coordinate closely and regularly with the Health Coordinator on all data collection, data entry, and data analysis
- Liaise closely with PHCCs staff
- Assist the Area and Health coordinator in assuring quality management of all project components.
- Identify relevant training topics and facilitates training for the PHC staff
- Support the management of the PHC with the accreditation process of the PHC
- Work closely with Community Health Officer to ensure the linkage of beneficiaries to health centers

Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) are essential
- Experience working in or with PHCCs
- NGO working experience is desirable
- Work experience minimum 2-3 years in relevant field
- Management experience in the field of public health resilience
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential
- Knowledge of national regulations and requirements for PHCs
- Promotes the vision, mission, and strategic goals of humedica
- Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality, and age sensitivity and adaptability and treats all people fairly without favoritism
- Approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude
- Shows proven networking, team-building, organizational and communication skills and is highly organized in working with others
