Tasks and Responsibilities
Main Mission: Supporting the nutrition team in conducting nutrition counselling to the families receiving child wellbeing assistance (CWA).
Specific tasks:
- To assess the nutritional status of the households through nutrition tools.
- To provide awareness sessions on health and nutrition to the households with a focus on infant and young child feeding (IYCF).
- To screen malnutrition in under 5 years children and pregnant and lactating women.
- To link the malnutrition cases to the nearest primary health care centers (PHCs).
- To distribute micronutrients supplements to children aged 6-23 months.
- To perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Nutrition and dietetics student.
- High and effective communication skills.
- Strong social, interpersonal, and intercultural skills.
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous experience with NGOs or INGOs is an added value.
- English is an asset.
